Vampire therapy: PRP & Microneedling combined
Our Vampire therapy with microneedling uses your own blood’s growth factors to stimulate skin healing and collagen production.
How does Vampire therapy work?
- Blood Draw: A small amount (typically one vial) of your blood is drawn.
- PRP Extraction: Blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma from red and white blood cells. PRP is full of growth factors that help with healing and rejuvenation.
- Microneedling: A device with fine needles creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin. This triggers the body’s natural healing response—boosting collagen and elastin production.
- PRP Application: The PRP is applied topically to the skin (sometimes also injected). The micro-channels created by microneedling help the PRP penetrate deeply and effectively.

Vampire therapy results timeline
Immediate results:
Skin may appear fresher, brighter, and more radiant due to increased blood flow and the healing properties of PRP.
After 2-3 weeks results:
Noticeable improvement in skin texture, tone, and some visible improvement in skin concerns like wrinkles and scars.
After 4-6 weeks results:
A more marked improvement in skin appearance, with visible collagen stimulation and collagen formation.
Long-term results:
Depending on the individual and the severity of the skin condition, results can continue to improve gradually for several months, with optimal results typically seen after a series of treatments. For example, Park Ave Derm notes that final results can take 6-8 weeks after the final treatment, and TopLine MD states that it can take several weeks to see the full benefits of collagen stimulation and regeneration.
